ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Library and Information Science has started its Academic Session from 2022-23 with an intake of 10 seats. The department is running a Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc) program focusing on multidisciplinary aspect of the subject. The program is designed in a such a way that the students shall be able to learn theoretical concept of library and information and at the same time will be able to practice it in the library environment. The Program is for a duration of four semesters (two years).
